Stock photography is the supply of photographs, which are licensed for specific uses. It is used to fulfill the needs of creative assignments instead of hiring a photographer, often for a lower cost. Today, stock images can be presented in searchable online databases. They can be purchased and delivered online. Often, these photographs involve people, and are produced in studios using a wide variety of models posing as professionals, stereotypes, expressing common emotions and gesticulations, or involving pets. Other common stock photography niches include images related to travel and tourism, as well as conceptual photography.
Royalty-free (RF)
Royalty-free products may be used by you multiple times for multiple projects without incurring additional fees. Royalty-free pricing is based solely on the file size of the product you need and the number of people entitled to use it (maximum 10), not the specific use. You don't have to pay any additional royalties for successive uses of a royalty-free product. However, as with all Image licences, the rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to you. This means that if you license a royalty-free product to be used in a derivative work by your client or any other person, they may not use the licensed product separately from the derivative work. Royalty-free licences are always non-exclusive. My Agent: Dreamstime
